A Saskatoon man was honoured Tuesday with the Saskatchewan premier’s commendation award for saving two people last summer.
Travis Laycock was headed to St. Brieux Lake with his family on July 19, 2014 when on a section of gravel road, he watched as the car in front of him swerved and went into a slough. Laycock jumped out of his car and headed for the water.
